Dudley Raine, IV is a violist currently living in New York City. Since his arrival in the Big Apple for school, Dudley has performed in orchestras, churches, and chamber groups. He is also teaching students and part of music outreach programs. Dudley has recorded music for an upcoming independent film, made an appearance on the Food Network's Worst Chefs in America: Celebrity Edition, and recorded for a songwriter-performer from Columbia University. He has attended summer music programs, including the Chautauqua Institute, Miami Music Festival, Wintergreen Summer Music Academy, and Summit Music Festival. Raine was also an assistant faculty member for the James String Quartet Summer Camp for two years in Lynchburg, Virginia. Dudley's most recent summer engagements included a trip to Cortona, Italy, to premiere new works written for his trio as an ensemble-in-residence. He also performed with Miguel-Atwood Ferguson in the New York premiere of Suite for Ma Dukes in the Lincoln Center Out of Doors series. Raine currently studies privately with Karen Ritscher at Manhattan School of Music. Dudley also works as a musician performing with SPN Events, and part of the resident ensemble at Calvary-St. George's. Outside of his musical endeavors, Dudley competitively runs long distance races, and plans to run the New York City Marathon in November 2017.
